Somethings other than Lighthouses..

About the middle of last year I had one of those conversations that occur late in the evening in a bar with a good friend. After I had described my photo interest in Lighthouses, my friend (Jack P. Woerfel) politely disagreed and told me that his interests leaned more toward rural buildings, specifically Old Barns.

This got me thinking., and eventually led to another back roads adventure with Whiskey and camera. Wouldn't you know it, another calendar project and gifts for friends and family. If you'd care to see more, click on Barns and Farms and take the slideshow option.

Quote of the day..

I told the doctor I broke my leg in two places.
He told me to quit going to those places.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed

by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do.

So throw off the bowlines.

Sail away from the safe harbor.

Catch the trade winds in your sails.

Explore.

Dream.

Discover.

Back to Get Go..

As my loyal blog followers will remember. The initial idea for this blog was sharing. Not just my thoughts and ideas, but also some of my photos and videos. Since Whiskey and I haven't done any photo excursions for a while I thought maybe some of you would like to see more of the Lighthouse pictures.
If you click here.
You will be taken to a album of the pictures I used for my lighthouse calendar.

Photogs Note: You can learn more about Wisconsin Lighthouses at www.lighthousefriends.com

Strike two....

Well, after all that trouble with the bad hard drive, I think I've pretty much got things back to normal in PC land. It wasn't just a bad drive. After I got it back from the shop, I was installing software and found a second set of problems. Back we go to the repair guys. To make a long story short the replacement drive was malfunctioning also. Thank goodness I didn't delete my backup files. Another week and a half and a complete new drive from another source and here we are. Warranties are wonderful.

Photogs Note: Have you backed up your PC file yet??
